Hmmm Rangers are more boreal like and it can't be to jungle like

The boar was a great choice for the jungle and lizards a great idea for the desert.

I couldn't see snakes, and neither can I see hawks (too small and/or difficult to implement)

I *do* see Badgers Cause they live in temperate climates....

They should make devourers pets I mean ''Joe''! Come on!

and I would see armadillos! ARMADILLOS!

I could see the ability to get a devourer, only if you have a devourer egg, and must equip it in a special slot for Rangers for a certain amount of time and when it hatches, you must not have a pet with you, or it is replaced, and level 1 Devourer, and its type depends on your primary and secondary combination. Such as Ranger/Blah yields the ranged one, Warrior/Ranger yields the melee one, Necro, Ele, Mes and Monk /R yields their corresponding type, they'd shoot dark, fire/earth/cold/lightning, chaos, and holy dmg. But, thats just an idea. -.-

I want a lion with a eagles head. ANd make this animal hit hard! However, lets introduce an Elite Charm Animal Skill, so theres a new class of animals to be tamed, and they are all mythical.

I agree that any creature should be tameable. I was highly disappointed when I was first playing and I tried to tame a devourer.

The level of the creature should determine taming time and difficulty. Getting wailed on by the animal as you're defenselessly trying to charm it would be its own counterbalance.

Oh, and I would suggest an aardvark.

if you want a dragon like pet, why not just have a (1)fairy dragon. They are small and not that super powerful like glint or the lower drakes. Maybe it would be nice to have drakes as pets too.

(2) bull
(3) donkey (hee haw) lol :P
(4) black panther (kinda new look)
(5) lion
(6) ram
(7) gorilla or chimp

definately Badgers......

if you have never been beaten to a pulp by a Badger Chieftan, who screams "Remember Robin!" then resses you after you died by not being hard enough, you have never had fun ^^

(this was on neverwinter nights, RR nordock normal server 1...a bored DM poped on the server and Badgers everywhere rose up and attacked...if you have never been killed by a badger on a HCR version server, even at a reasonable level like 9, you probably dont know how humiliating it can be to be flattened by one while your wearing magical plate armour, wielding magical wepons and backed up by a high player ...but still, it was fun, to have to run from 3 pissed off badgers, screaming badger swearwords and hissing at you ^^)

so, i say again ^^ BADGERS!!!!!

oh, and maybe dragonetts..thats mini dragon things.

pixies arent good, they are too small, get swatted lots and the dust make you snezee...and cough.

I want a pet eagle - a nice big harpy eagle or golden eagle.
And maybe crows. A murder of crows.
If we are sticking to land animals and withing a reasonable size range (rhinocerous and elephant might be a bit much) wolverines and other mustelids would be neat; mongooses and civet-like animals, maybe something like the extinct ground sloth, or a hyena-like critter.

I want a Tamaraw. It's a dwarf water buffalo which is critically endangered here on Earth.

Another choice would be the Arabian Oryx.
